It doesn't matter what you call them, our ponies are the most important part of our business. Without healthy, happy, and gentle ponies there would be no way to operate our business. As a result we lavish our ponies with the care and attention they deserve.

When they are not working, (our ponies work an average of 35-40 days per year) the ponies stretch their legs and kick up their heels on our 1,000 acre ranch in Northern California. It is truly a Pony Paradise with fresh springs, giant shady oaks and fields of wild flowers.

Take a look below to meet just a few of the 135 ponies and horses that live on our ranch.

Bubba
Breed: Welsh
Born: 1998
Sex: Gelding
Color: Pinto
Weight: 700 lbs

Bubba came to us from Arkansas in 2003. We immediately recognized that his calm nature, large size, and flashy markings would be a great asset at Cade’s Happy Day Pony Ride.

Bubba is a funny boy. Even though he is a gelding, he thinks that every baby born on the ranch is his, and he immediately adopts them. He will stick by their side to protect them and he chases all of the other ponies off if they get to close.

Peek-a-boo

Breed: Shetland
Born: 2001
Sex: Mare
Color: Dark Dapple
Weight: 520 lbs

Peek-a-boo came to us from a small farm on the outskirts of Central Point, Oregon. She was in rough shape when we got her, but with lots of fresh, green grass and some TLC she has become one of our most beautiful ponies.

Peek is one of the few ponies that gets along with every new pony she meets. She has a naturally sweet personality that endears her to us and all of the kids that ride her each year. With her flaxen mane and tail, she takes a very striking picture, and is always looking her best after her morning bath. We look forward to many good years with this sweet girl.
